SMITHFIELD - The  Wake Forest  Rolesville FFA  competed in three  competitions at the  East Central  Regional Rally on  April 22nd. Each  team placed first in  their competitions. The Floriculture team consisted of Alexis Brogden, Mitchell Thompson, Katherine Sontag, Taylor Fitzpatrick and Katelyn Williams. The Nursery Landscape Team consisted of Kevin Oliver, Kevin Rice, Brandy Weatherly, Tyler Hill and Sean Sullivan. The Forestry Team consisted of Jonathan Starling, Mark Shimmel, John Talley, Bruce Killian and Graham Pearce. All teams will move on to compete at the State FFA Convention on June 25th.

 RALEIGH - The Wake  Forest Rolesville FFA  Senior Livestock  Team finished first in  the 2008 NC FFA  Livestock CDE. Kevin  Oliver was the overall  high individual for the  state. Team members  included Mollie Daniel,  Alexis Brogden, Tyler  Hill and Kevin Oliver.  The team will now  travel to compete at  the National FFA  Livestock Competition  in Indianapolis Indiana in October representing North Carolina at the National Competition.
